- Start standing with feet hip width apart. - Shift your weight to one leg and lift opposite heel toward the sit bone. - Reach back with your hand on the same side as the lifted foot to hold the outside of your foot. - Aim to your hip points even and facing forward. - Press your raised heel up toward the ceiling and away from your body, as you extend your leg. - You may extend your opposite arm for balance, and hold a mudra with that hand.
